Important Decisions and Audits
Parents Advocating Together does more than just pass along information for parents to get needed educational supports. One aspect that happens behind the scenes is an active effort to make sure that necessary accountability is in place to assure that the programs and district supports are available to provide a Free and Appropriate Public Education (FAPE) that is a mandate in the United States. We strive to remove the roadblocks frequently encountered by parents that deny children access to needed services and supports.
In this section, we post recent decisions and documents that effect both the political and legal aspects of California's educational system. This is growing list and key items are included that may be of use. PDF files use the free Adobe Acrobat reader that can be downloaded from http://get.adobe.com/reader.
